The nasal spray flu vaccination session due in Gullane Primary School this week has been rescheduled to the 20th of December.
I apologise for this change in date. This is due to UK wide temporary delays in some flu vaccine supplies due in November.
Parents of children with a significant health condition which puts them at risk of flu (for instance chronic heart, lung, kidney disease or diabetes), and who wish their child to have their flu vaccination before December 20th are recommended to contact their own general practice for an earlier vaccination.
Further information is available at NHS Inform and in the leaflet here.

Parents of P1-3 children are reminded that if your child requires a packed lunch on a Friday, they should ensure the meal selection is completed by the Sunday evening prior to the Friday on which the packed lunch is required.
As mentioned in the letter last week, this can be completed up to 6 weeks in advance here.
As the meals are prepared before the children arrive at school on the Friday, they must be ordered in advance and cannot be ordered on the day.
Thanks for your help with this matter.
Please remember the dress rehearsal on Friday 1st December.
Please feel welcome to come along. If you know folks who wouldn’t normally come along to the concert but would enjoy seeing the children perform please let them know. We start at about 9.30am. A toilet and costume break about 10/10.15am and we should finish by 12noon.
The morning doesn’t run on a strict schedule but we endeavour to stick to approximate times.
The session dates for 2018-19 are below:
You should have received a sheet detailing the information about our parent/teacher consultations in March.
It is important that these sheets are returned by the Monday 27th February as staff need to meet in order to sort out timings and such like.
The attached handouts from Education Scotland are about how your child is assessed in School.
They will also be put in the Informaiton for Parents section of this website.
Parents/Carers may wish to read the update on the East Lothian website about the Named Person Scheme.
The link here can also be found under the ‘Helpful Info & Resources for Parents’ section of our Website and there is a handout that you may wish to read on it below:
