This term the main thing we will be looking at is ‘Enterprise.’ The children will be looking at different types of enterprise, considering what skills they have and learning how to update the School or Class Blog.
We will be learning about report writing (Headlines, Picture Captions etc) and how to take photographs with the digital camera. We will also look at how to interview each other and make notes.
The children will then apply for jobs some time after the October holiday to be a reporter or photographer for the class or other classes that would like support with blogging.
At least once a term they will visit the class, interview the teacher/children and write a blog post for the school blog.
Later on in the term we will be doing ‘Light’ and ‘Electricity’ as our Science Topics (not ‘Sound’ as I said in the newsletter at the start of term!).
