In accordance with Scottish Government guidance, all children in King’s Meadow receive two hours of PE. As you can imagine, with thirteen classes and only one hall, it can be difficult to have all of this inside. As a result, there may be occasions when your child will be taking part in PE outdoors when the weather may be cold, wet or windy. For outdoor activities pupils should wear a tracksuit or jogging bottoms and sweatshirt, extra socks and outdoor trainers. Rain jackets, hats and gloves should be worn when appropriate. It is important that they are ready to take part and also that they have a change of clothes and a bag to put wet gear in, so that they are comfortable for the rest of the day. We would appreciate your support with this. The attached leaflet provides further guidance. PE – Parent/Carer’s leaflet
