Our week

This week we learnt food names in French.

We want to know more about volcanoes.

We were surprised that seismologists can measure earthquakes.

It is cool how a seismologist came to see us.

Our week by Ellie and Katy

This week:

  • we learned about fruits in French;
  • we figured out how to keep ourselves safe out and about;
  • we discovered how to use time correctly;
  • we explored the cause of tsunamis
  • the most challenging thing was playing happy families in French using fruit; and
  • we were successful because most people didn’t get reflection time.

We still want to know more about fruit in French.

Our week by Tom and Ava

This week…

  • we began to learn about keeping ourselves safe;
  • we figured out how to interpret scale drawings;
  • we discovered more about the layers of the earth;
  • we explored where lots of natural disasters happened;
  • we want to know more about time;
  • the most challenging thing was scale drawings;
  • we were successful because we were all well behaved in art;
  • it was cool how we played Scatterball in PE;
  • we were surprised that China has suffered so many natural disasters.
  • we now know who is the best at Scatterball!

Our assembly

On Friday P6C delivered a first class assembly to the rest of the school, parents and carers.  They were outstanding!  All through the week they worked together to create, improve and perfect the Victorian Hall of Fame.  Well done everyone – you should all be very proud of what you accomplished!

Our week by Jason and Andrew

This week we…

  • learned how to use similes,
  • figured out what metaphors are,
  • discovered that Victorian houses were different from ours and
  • explored the spelling pattern ily.

We want to know more about yoga because it is fun.

The most challenging thing this week was taking down notes about Victorian houses.

In PE we were successful this week because everyone listened.

Now we know the months of the year in French.
