04.05.16 Glitter Germ Experiment

We have been learning about the importance of food hygiene and completed the glitter germ experiment in class this morning. P4 discovered that germs are passed easily and our classroom is now covered in glitter!


05.01.16 Swimming

Happy New Year to everyone! I hope that you all had a relaxing holiday. Please remember that Group 2 swimmers start tomorrow (06.01.16). Can you please remember to bring a swimming costume, goggles and a towel.

14.12.15 Christmas Event

Thank you to all who came to support us on Friday and for buying our products. P4 made nearly £200 in total. Please find a few photos of our products below.




02.12.15 Enterprise Project

We have been working hard on our enterprise project and began to make our products for the Christmas Fayre today.



02.12.15 Badminton Festival

We have a Badminton festival on Tuesday 8th December at the Corn Exchange from 9.30 – 10.45. Please could P4B come to school in appropriate clothing for the festival and bring a water bottle. If there are any parents available to come with us to the festival please could you write a note in your child’s dairy. Thank you in advance.

02.10.15 Rugby

We have our last rugby taster on Monday during our usual P.E. slot (9.15-10.15). On Tuesday morning 9.45-12.00 we have a rugby tournament with the other primary schools in our cluster. If anyone is available to come and help or cheer us on, please write a wee note in your child’s diary to let me know.

There will be no rugby taster this week but tasters will take place on Thursday 1st October and Monday 5th October. Remember to bring appropriate kit with you on these days.

22.09.15 – Homework

Today the children have been allocated Mathletics homework which will appear on the screen when they log in. Each group has 2 or 3 games on rounding and ordering numbers. You will not be able to play any other games until you have completed you homework activities. Please let me know if there are any problems accessing a computer or Mathletics.

We had a great time at our rugby taster session in Neilson Park. We took park in lots of fun activities and worked hard to develop our skills as team players.

03.09.15 – Numeracy

In numeracy we have been looking at place value. The class enjoyed playing the game Biggest Number. They had to take turns to roll a 1-9 dice 4 times then create the biggest number they could. The child with the biggest number wins the point.
