Next week is Eco Week at school. All classes will be taking part in a variety of outdoor and indoor activities to encourage them to consider some Green issues and caring for the environment.
Parents and carers should have been sent a permission slip home for a trip to Newhailes. We would appreciate if this could be returned with the money asap.

East Lothian Council intends to open all schools and nurseries as normal on Monday December 20. Where a headteacher is unable to open their school due to adverse conditions or safety concerns, we will endeavour to inform parents and carers as soon as possible. Please check this website, individual school websites, East Coast FM and Radio Forth for updates.
Parents and carers are reminded that if their child has a party in the afternoon and wishes to wear different clothes, they can either bring clothes to change into at lunch time or go home at 12 noon to get changed.
If they are going home ten minutes early, pupils should bring a note from home giving permission. Pupils who are staying on will have lunch at their normal time.
P7 pupils will be attending a concert at Knox next Tuesday. Please can they make sure they have coats etc to walk to Knox.
Although we are aiming to be back to leave school at 3.30 pm, parents should not be worried if pupils are a few minutes late.
Provided the weather is the same as it is just now, pupils should line up as normal next week and NOT come in the front entrance. Please remind them to take care in the playgrounds, keeping away from wet and slippery areas as they line up.
Pupils should also make an effort to be at school in time to line up.
If the weather is bad and the playgrounds are dangerous, pupils should enter by the front door.
