I really enjoyed our mini Up Helly Aa. My favourite bit was definitely the burning of the long boat. Everybody’s costumes were fantastic.
I thought the effort everyone put in for the Up Helly Aa was tremendous and the entertainment was great. Well done to the pupils, teachers and parents. It was excellent.
With regards to The Banquet I really liked the idea and the costumes were brilliant. I was proud of my child getting up and performing in front of an audience. Maybe less sugar in the actual banquet foods…. but … hey … I am being picky.
