Woodwork in the Nursery

Woodwork fun on PhotoPeach

The woodwork bench in the Nursery has been a great success this week. Almost all the children have had a turn to create their own work of art using wood, polystyrene, nails, drawing pins, ribbons, buttons, beads, lollipop sticks and bottle tops. We hope you enjoy looking at these photos of the children busy making their creations. Sincere apologies to any child who missed the photo opportunity.

A huge thank you to Ruth, Moya, Emma and Sandra who supervised this activity each day and allowed it to go ahead.

We hope to have the woodwork bench back again in the Summer Term for another go with hammer and nails.

  1. Thank you Mrs Hood for posting these lovely images of the children making and creating with wood. I wasn’t able to be in Nursery most of the week and missed a lot of fun. But now I can enjoy what I missed on the blog. Well done children for all your imaginative ideas and endless creativity. Well done to Mrs Hood for arranging it all and another thank you to the parents who helped.

  2. Now I know where to come if school needs any carpenters! You were concentrating very hard and making wonderful pieces.
