We had an exciting day yesterday. First Iain Gray, the MSP for East Lothian came into class to talk to us about his job. He described the sort of things an MSP did and what a typical week was like for him. It sounded like an exciting job. It really helped us understand our Democracy topic. Then later on we had an outing to visit the RNLI down in Dunbar. This is our nominated charity for the year and we wanted to see what the station was like. We got to sit in the small lifeboat and were told all about the dangers of the water and how to keep ourselves, and others, safe around water………………………………… and we also got to see Sammy the Seal!
