Following the very positive feedback from our recent Education Scotland Inspection (https://education.gov.scot/inspection-reports/east-lothian/5553725), we are very proud to have welcomed Minister for Early Learning & Childcare (Ms Marie Todd) who visited our setting to meet the Early Years Team who recently were recognised as a setting of ‘Innovation and Impact’. We have tweeted a number of photographs and information about this recent success. The latest good news story for our small, but very ambitious learning community, is the further recognition of our school as model of ‘highly effective practice’, and a special ‘sketchnote’ published on the Education Scotland website: https://education.gov.scot/improvement/practice-exemplars/sketchnote-innerwick
We are very proud of the hard work and commitment from the staff team, which leads to excellent experiences for our young people enjoy. It is always nice to be recognised for one’s efforts, and the whole team would like to thank our community for being such an engaged and positive partner over the past few months. We take the view that it is always possible to improve and develop, and look forward to enjoying even more progress and success in the years to come.
