Nursery Diary Dates for December

 December will be a busy month for our Nursery Children, and we thought that you might like to know what is planned for them! 

Here is a list of dates for your diary; – 

9th December 2008 – Gladys Chucklebutty is coming into school to do a performance for all of the children throughout the school. This will take place from 10.30am – 11.30am

11th December 2008 – The Nursery pupils will watch the Morning Dress Rehearsal Performance of the School Christmas Concert – A Christmas Presence at 10.00am 

16th December 2008 – We will be holding a Nursery Coffee Morning and Art Exhibition, where you will have the opportunity to purchase pieces of artwork and crafts that your child has made. Any money raised will be used towards the purchase of a climbing frame for the Nursery Garden. Please come along and support your budding Picassos.

 18th December 2008 – The Nursery pupils will have their Christmas Party. Children should wear their party outfits.  

19th December 2008 – The whole school, including the Nursery Class will go along to the Christmas Service at the church. This will be held at 11.00am.

We hope that you have a great Christmas and look forward to seeing you on Monday 5th January 2009 when both the School and Nursery resume.

P1/2/3 – Fireworks Display!

Our P1/2/3 class had great fun recently making their fireworks displays, as you will see from the wonderful photos!

They went into the outdoor shelter and had great fun flicking and splashing paint to make one of their fantastic displays which is now brightening up their cloakroom.

They then all worked together in the classroom to draw a wonderful crayon firework picture that they then covered with paint to make it look like a perfect clear fireworks evening!

Party Lite Candle Fund Raising Event

The school are holding a Party Lite Candle Fund Raising Event on Thursday 23rd October 2008

This will take place in the School Hall from 8.00 – 10.00pm to which all parents/carers/relatives/friends are invited.

Party Lite sell Candles & Accessories and further information regarding the company and their products is available at www.partylite.co.uk

Refreshments will be served at the event by Innerwick Primary School Parent Council.

If you are not able to attend, but wish to see one of the catalogues, please pop into the school office as Tina has spare catalogues for you to browse through!
