MMR vaccine catch-up

It’s not too late to protect your child against Measles, Mumps and Rubella.

NHS Lothian is running a catch-up campaign for young people aged 10 to 17 years who have not received two doses of MMR vaccine.

Some young people missed out on the MMR vaccination when they were younger. Two doses of the vaccine are required to ensure protection.

Information has been sent to parents and guardians of children who are 10 to 17 years old whose health records show they may not have completed the full course of MMR vaccination. NHS Lothian is encouraging parents and guardians of these children to contact their General Practice to arrange MMR vaccination for their child.

Sports Relief @Innerwick Primary

Sport Relief – Friday 23rd March

This Friday Innerwick Primary School will be raising awareness and money for Sport Relief. We will be taking part in the Sport Relief Mile by either walking, jogging or running around the school grounds. Children, parents and staff  are welcome to dress up in their sports kit for the day – football and rugby strips will be allowed. Children should try and bring their sponser forms in to school on Friday.

It would be great to have a good turnout of parents to cheer along the participants.

P1 Admissions – August 2012

The dates set to enrol children who would like to be admitted into P1 at Innerwick Primary School for the Session 2012/2013 are TUESDAY 15th NOVEMBER & WEDNESDAY 16th NOVEMBER 2011.

A copy of our school handbook along with an information leaflet about enrolling your children in an East Lothian Council school will be sent to all parents/carers of our pre-school nursery pupils.

Can you please arrange to phone the school office to arrange a time to come into the office on either of these dates to see Tina McAvoy and complete the School enrolment form.

You MUST bring along your child’s birth certificate and proof of residence as part of the enrolment process. The ONLY form of identification of residence that we are able to accept is a council tax assessment letter.

If you are not able to attend on either of these dates, please phone the office to make alternative arrangements.
