2 : My research shows Jihad means *struggle*hatrid*
It is known to be a misunderstood word and it was pretty amazing because i brought in a paper to show and it was dated WEDNESDAY, 12 NOVEMBER 2001
Scottish sun the day after 911 and it didn’t show Jihad once !

  2. 1 In Team America there are a team of Americans trying to find out about a group of terrorists. From the clip I got the feeling that Jihad was like punching someone or like a bomb.

2 BBC said that in English Jihad means struggle or effort and means much more than the holy war. The holy war being the struggle to defend Islam. Young Muslins say that Jihad is an obligation from Allah that every Muslim must do and that cannot be ignored or rejected.Daniel Pipes believes that Jihad is a word that means the struggle against the wicked Americans and an effort to expand terrorism. David Horowitz thinks that Jihad is an orginization that are trying to become world dominators and they will take down America first.’ definition for Jihad is 1 A crusade or struggle. 2 A muslim holy war or spiritual struggle against infields. 3 An individual’s thriving for self perfection.

  3. 1. In team America they go looking for terrerorists. In team America they use the word Jihad as a curse.

    2. JIHAD
The definition of Jihad is a believers struggle to live out the Muslim faith, the struggle to build a good Muslim society and Holy War: the struggle to defend Islam, with force if needed. Jihad is an obligation from Allah on every Muslim and can’t be ignored.
Jihad means a Holy War against infidels undertaken by Muslims in defence of the Islamic faith.
I got this information from the BBC website, the dictionary, HASAN AL-BANNA and James Pipes.

  4. 1. In team america the way they say the word jihad it sounds like it means a curse of some sort.
    2. When I was on the internet the definition of jihad came up as the word Muslims use to describe three types of struggle:
A believers internal struggle to live out the Muslim faith as well as possible
the struggle to build a good muslim society
holy war: the struggle to defend Islam, with force if necessary.

Website 3:Jihad is to offer ourselves to Allah for His Cause. Indeed, every person should according to Islam prepare himself/herself for jihad and every person should eagerly and patiently wait for the day when Allah will call them to show their willingness to sacrifice their lives.
