How easy would it be for a lay Buddhist to put this into practice?

Right Concentration
Right concentration, along with right mindfulness, shows meditation. Meditation is about training your mind in a certain way to that you are able to see things for what they truly are. Buddhists believe that your actions follow your mind, therefore if your mind is not properly trained your actions cannot be right. Concentration can be defined as when all thoughts and mental powers are focused on one thing, and for Buddhists, ‘Right Concentration’ is means applying all focus to a wholesome thought or action. To reach this high level of concentration a lot of meditation is required, therefore it would be difficult to achieve for someone who is not a monk or nun as they would not have enough time for all the necessary meditation.
