Jesus had this massive idea to try and explain to people. To help them get it he gave lots of pictures. Try and work out what you think the ‘Kingdom of Heaven’ really is…

by talking about the kingdom of heaven i think that he is referring to earth. i think this because some of the things he says suggest that it is all around you or that you just need to look for it and you will find it. If the criteria for what the kingdom of heaven is that it is all around you and you just need to look for it then if you look at it from a certain point of you the earth ticks both of those boxes.
I think the kingdom of heaven is a place for really good people to go when they are alive or when they die. The thing that Jesus said about the merchant looking for pearls could be God searching for those who are good enough to get in. The one about the field is about the farmer who is God planting people (seeds) on earth (field) and seeing how they grow. The good ones will be picked out and sold and stuff. The mustard seed is representing unimportant people growing into really important people. The mustard seed is a very small seed, but when it grows fully, it’s a massive tree. This shows that it doesn’t matter who you are but if you grow up well, you can get into the kingdom of heaven. 😀
After reading the sheet I think the kingdom of heaven is in your mind and if you try hard, behave, kind and do the right things you will be privileged as the Kingdom of heaven will bring a more relaxed and happy (stress-free) life, because it said that only some people get the knowledge of the Kingdom of Heaven.
I think ‘kingdom,’ might be where your mind is even if you are still in the real world. Your mind is in a separate happier place if your mind is in the Kingdom of Heaven but only some people deserve it.
I think the kingdom of heaven is inside people who would think of others before themselves even if it meant they lost something meaningful to them. I think the clues “kingdom” gives you is that it must be big with lots of people being there because of good deeds.
i think the kingdom of heaven is the place where you go after you have died you go there and have a good time and the kingdom of heaven is where god stays and watches over the world and makes sure the good people come up to heaven and i think god also decides who should die and how and how old the should die and trys to change people in different wazs but the kingdom of heaven is probably the place where god is and the good people are

I think the Kingdom of Heaven isn’t a place where you go when you die but a place inside our minds we can find by being a “pure” Christian. To become a “pure” Christian you may even have to suffer for it but when you reach it, it will be the best thing imaginable. Once you reach heaven you will need nothing else.
The “Kingdom” of Heaven, I think, means that a reasonably large amount of people are their, its King is God and its nationality is Christian.
I think that what Jesus means by ‘kingdom of heaven’ is that it isn’t so much a place, but rather a feeling inside you. He is saying that if you don’t sin, don’t take things that aren’t rightfully your’s, do nice things for, and help, other people then it will make you feel better as a person and your life will be a lot easier. The more you put into life, the more you will get out of it which will ultimately make it more stress free and you will be a happier, nicer person.
I think that what Jesus meant about “The Kingdom of Heaven” is that it is somewhere on Earth, people who are alive can see it and that if you work hard then you will be rewarded with good seeds and crops, dough and weddings. Jesus said that it is very hard for someone who is rich to go into Heaven, implying that rich people are more likely to be spoilt.

I think what Jesus is saying is that the Kingdom of Heaven is a place the good or pure people would reside in. Jesus is saying it is a good place (peaceful) that only the purest of people can get in, before they die. It’s like when Jesus tells about the mustard seeds, because they are tiny but the tree they come from is massive, so I think the means only the best things (or parts of things) can get in.
I think the kingdom of heaven is like another earth where jesus chooses the people who have done a good deed in life to go there. i think this because one of his quotes says “the kingdom of heaven i like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son”.
I think that Jesus meant by the kingdom of heaven if you make the right decisions and try hard you will be rewarded. If you do the right things you will be granted complete happiness and peace. Anyone can get in if they try hard enough.With the saying that goes like its harder for rich people to get in, I think this is so that everyone gets the same oppertunity. I believe that he also rewards people that are loyal to him, listen to him and follow his word. Also to those that spred his word.
I think Jesus was saying that if you keep your mind open, like a child who’s learning, and remain a person of equality (Don’t become rich and arrogant), peace will come to you. That all proud/happy moments of your life (First achievement, child’s first word, going to see your favourite band/singer in concert etc.) which you treasure will be replayed in the kingdom. I believe Jesus was saying that you should enjoy life as it is, keep family close, treat your friends and colleagues with respect, be kind to all, feel great about you as a person. Then you’ll always be in the Kingdom of Heaven, not just when you die. So basically the Kingdom of Heaven is everlasting happiness.
I don’t think that the Kingdom of Heaven is our preconceived idea of Heaven. Calling it a ‘kingdom’ shows that it is a better place than earth, and you need to work hard to get there.
I think that the most likely theory is that it is a state of mind or happiness. It could mean that once you have done everything you canto make yourself a better person, then you would have the right mind set to make you feel as if you are in Heaven. Religion would play a big part of feeling as if you were in Heaven. If you had done everything in your power to make God or Jesus happy, then in return, you would be happy.
I think this because he talks about the woman using yeast and flour to make dough, which shows that you need to work hard. He also talks about a king organising a wedding banquet for his son, which shows that it is a great place to be, and is everything you could ever imagine.
To me the Kingdom of Heaven is a place where people are given hope and a chance. They enter in a dream after doing a good deed. They get given a task and if they do it then they will be rewarded with a treasure. My examples of this are 1) “The kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it he hid it again and then sold all he had and bought that field”. So this man found the treasure but didn’t take it because it wasn’t his to take. He then went to the Kingdom of Heaven that night and was told to sell his things and buy that field hiving him a treasure if he followed that task but he might choose not to sell his things. 2) “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed which a man took and planted in his field”. This man did a good deed went to the Kingdom of Heaven and was given a mustard seed and told to plant it. The mustard seed will then grow into an enormous tree also named a great treasure.
It seems that the Kingdom of Heaven is a place (not necessarily a physical place) that like many other kingdoms, you can join.
However, (like many other kingdoms) that you can join, before you join you must meet certain requirements: You must leave everything (good and bad) behind.
When Jesus talks about fishing, he is talking about how the kingdom of heaven is open to everyone.When he talks about a small amount of yeast in a large amount of dough, he is telling people that although the kingdom of heaven may seem small, it can affect a large number of people.
When Jesus says that some people will not taste death before they enter the kingdom of heaven, this means that although people think of heaven as a place you go when you die, you can enter the kingdom of heaven before you die.
Jesus also says that the kingdom of heaven is like a man who finds treasure in a field, then in his joy sells all he owns and buys that field. The meaning of this is similar to the first point that says you must leave everything behind to join the kingdom of heaven, but is different because it tells you that it will make you happy.
It seems to me that you can join the kingdom of heaven while you are alive, by meeting the criteria then joining. Alternatively you can meet the criteria, but not “realise” the kingdom of heaven which means that you will go to the kingdom of heaven when you die.
I reckon that achieving entry to the Kingdom of Heaven can be compared to the Buddhists idea of achieving enlightenment, in that to achieve the Kingdom you must let go of anxieties, as they have no place in the Kingdom. The Kingdoms interpretation may vary from person to person but it will always be a place free from human worries as it is a place where everybody is at home and loved.
After studying the sheet i think that you can find the ‘Kingdom of Heaven’ within yourself, that it is a time in your life when you are completely happy and stress free. When you are never pessimistic and always optimistic.
To me ‘KIngdom’ means a group of people living in the same place, they follow the same person and abide by the same rules.
I think the Kingdom of Heaven is the feeling of happiness. It is not a place. You will only enter the Kingdom of Heaven if you work hard and do lots of good deeds.
I think the kingdom of heaven is a place that you visit in you dreams and you see at only certain points in your lifetime. You will only see the kingdom of heaven if you have done something good or have sacrificed something that means a lot to you. Lots of people try throughout their whole lives but never get to see the kingdom of heaven. Every little thing that people do can affect is they see the kingdom of heaven.
I think Jesus was trying to tell people about the kingdom of heaven in riddles. From what Jesus said its much harder for richer people to enter because they have everything they have ever wanted their life is complete whereas poor people or people that have not fulfilled their life so they have a better chance of going to the kingdom of heaven. In the kingdom of heaven theres only the best to be found and like Jesus said “its like a net that has caught all kinds of fish” Its like an imaginery hand has come down to earth and when people have been good or have not completed their life they are taken to the kingdom of heaven to achieve great things. Overall I think its a glorious kingdom which gives lower class people (like the mustard seed) to achieve and fulfil their destiny (become like the 4m wide mustard seed). Some people say they can see it before they die but I think thats just them dreaming of how they wish their life was so everyone sees the kingdom of heaven differently.
I think the Kingdom of Heaven is a place where all kind of people go, dead or alive. To get to this place people have to either be loyal to god or to have done something good. I think this because he said things that involve planting good ‘ seeds ‘ and catching different types of ‘fish’ and people not going because of greed.
I think that Jesus might have meant that Earth is the Kingdom of Heaven. I think this because a lot of the things that he said can relate to things that happen on Earth. I also think that he might have meant that the Kingdom of Heaven could be a sort of inner peace- that only some people can acheive this.

Jesus said ‘the kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field’ by this I think he meant it was like planting goodness into the world and when you become good you can enter the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus said that the kingdom of Heaven can like be like be entered by trust and being gifting other people. But also having to be your self not being someone else to get there place. Like in Populatilary in school you be yourself don’t be someone else just to be cool. But also it can be entered through death some people say that they can see it when they are alive. I find it quite hard to believe in anything but in Heaven. It can also be very very hard to enter the Kingdom Of Heaven if you are very rich because you’re selfish and they don’t thing of the poor most of the time but when they do take action they can make a difference. Also a king can be selfish to his people who can also be poor so these saying link up.
