Pancake Day

Posted by: | February 28, 2017 | No Comment |

WE made pancake today!

We found out why we celebrated Pancake Day and what ingredients we needed. Then we made pancakes and voted whether we liked them or not. Some of us chose to write pancake ingredients lists using the word cards.
Fifteen people liked them and 5 didn’t like them.

Take your chalk for a walk!

Posted by: | November 22, 2016 | 1 Comment |

Support from the Start is aiming to raise awareness amongst parents and carers in the North Berwick and coastal cluster as to what support is out there for young children and their families. Mrs Gibberd and Mr Dagger have created a pack with some fun ideas for parents to try out with their children which also includes information on the Parenting Pathway.  North Berwick Nursery held a ‘take your chalk for a walk’ pick up to allow children and adults come together and have some fun, whilst looking at what is on offer.

‘Take your chalk for a walk’

Posted by: | November 14, 2016 | 2 Comments |

‘Take your chalk for a walk’ is a fun way to find out more about what support is available for parents and children age 0 – 8 in our community.
On Thursday the 17th of November the ever-so talented Mrs Gibberd will be outside the Nursery at pick up time for both morning and afternoon families armed with packs of chalk and a million ideas to get you out and about and having fun.
We have created a pack with some fun ideas for parents to try out with their children which also includes information on the ‘Parenting Pathway’.
We hope that you find the pack of some use and are able to help us spread the word about Support from the Start.

It was lovely to see so many of you join us in the nursery to play and find out we have been learning about. What did you think of this event? Please comment on the post or send us a email admin@northberwicknursery.elcschool.org.uk. We appreciate all feedback.
