Prize Draw Feedback

Law Primary Prize Draw

Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to the Prize Draw survey that we emailed out.

A fantastic 85% of you said that you would take part in a Prize Draw. So we have decided to launch it at this Saturday’s May Fair. Those interested in taking part can find the stand near the Raffle and Tombola and we hope to see lots of you there.  There’ll be more information about how the Prize Draw works at the stand.

More information about the Prize Draw will be available soon to anyone unable to be there on Saturday.

A few people told us they’d rather make a one off donation to the school. This can be done by using btmydonate (https://mydonate.bt.com/donation/start.html?charity=119687).  The benefit of doing this is that we can also claim Gift Aid through this means.

Thanks again for all your support and we look forward to seeing lots of you on Saturday.

  1. Not everyone who would like to support family, friends and their school uses internet banking.
Like many groups you are losing a large group of possible supporters.
Please let me know how i can become a member of the prize draw . I would need the relevant account numbers to set up a direct debit .
There have been occasions when i would have liked to donate to school for a particular event or cause but unless school mentions a payee for me to write a cheque, school / the cause missed out .
Please consider giving a named account as well as an internet address.

    • Thank you for your comments. Apologies I missed it – I had thought it would send a prompt but it didn’t.
The prize draw that we will operate will in fact be a standing order, with no requirement for internet banking, and forms will be sent out with the relevant information.
We have however decided to delay the launch until after the summer holidays, due to a variety of reasons. However, we will post further details on the blog, Facebook, and email from the school.
If you’d like to make a donation to the school, you can by all means donate to the PTA, and cheques should be made payable to Law Primary PTA. Otherwise, the school accepts cheques made payable to East Lothian Council, and you would need to make it clear what your donation is to be used for.
I hope this helps. Many thanks for your support.
