Money for Nothing?!

Yes that’s really true… for your PTA, as we have recently joined!

In the run up to Christmas, and maybe even this Friday (Black Friday!) we all love a bit of internet shopping!  So just sign up to using this link:

Not only will we receive £1.00 for every new supporter, but for every purchase you make through the easyfundraising website, Law Primary PTA will receive a donation.  You don’t have to do anything different, other than enter the retailer’s website through this one.  You can even sign up for Gift Aid and a Donation Reminder to remind you to use it – it’s all very straightforward.

Some of the retailers signed up include Amazon, Tesco, John Lewis and Argos to name a few…

It’s really easy to sign up – it took us less than 2 minutes – and there is also a free App which makes the process even easier.

So have a good look around the site and spread the word. Any queries, please get in touch at

Thank you in advance and happy shopping!

Dates for the diary

Our next event is going to be a Bake Sale on Friday 27 November (in the playground) to try to raise money for a new laptop for the school. All donations of baking will be gratefully received on the day! More details to follow.

On January 29th, we will be holding a Family Ceilidh in the High School. A great night out for everyone – watch out for posters and details before Christmas!

Thank you to everyone who helped out at the Monster Ball, we really appreciate your time and support. As a result of the Monster Ball, along with profit from the Cauliflower Cards project, we are delighted to be able to donate £150 for each year group towards making purchases on the teachers’ wish lists! Hopefully they can get shopping before Christmas!

happy children

We are pleased to announce that the School and the PTA are taking part in the Cauliflower Cards Christmas Card Project again this year.

The children will design Christmas cards which are professionally printed and sold to raise funds for the school. Last year we raised more than £1000 through the project.

They will be designing their cards next week (commencing 21 September). Order forms for the cards will be in the reading packs on Monday 28 September. The order forms need to be returned to the school by Friday 2 October. This tight deadline ensures that they are ready in good time for Christmas.

We look forward to seeing their creations!!!

We are starting to look at our fundraising focus for this year, and what would be of real value to our school. We have been given a “wish list” from teaching staff and also from the After School Club.
In order to ensure that we are using our fundraising to full potential, we thought we’d do a shout out first for some of the items on the list.
So, if you have any of the following items that you are going to be getting rid of, and they are in GOOD condition, please put them into the box under the table in the school office.

Thank you so much!!

Board games for Golden Time (all ages)
Dressing up clothes (P5 request)
Playdough tools (not the actual playdough)
Fairytale character puppets
Lego, KNex or other construction toys

And for After School Club…..
Hula hoops
Skipping ropes
