Parent Survey – Scottish Government’s Technology for Learning strategy

Dear Parents,

There is an opportunity for all parents and carers to influence the Scottish Government’s Technology for Learning strategy via a short survey.

Further information can be found at “Blog post at Engage for Education”: http://www.engageforeducation.org/2011/03/what-do-you-think-about-technologies-for-learning/

Extract: In Scotland, we have already made significant progress with embedding technologies into everyday learning, however we need to continue to build on this.

That is why the Scottish Government is developing a Technologies for Learning Strategy that will aim to further the use of technology in learning and assessment in a practical and organised way for the benefit of Scotland’s learners and Scotland’s economic growth.

We want to find out more about how technologies are already being used for teaching and learning.  If you are a parent/guardian or a teacher/practitioner you can help us by completing a quick and easy, anonymous survey.  Your views and opinions will help us with developing the strategy.

If this is something that interests you I would encourage you to take the time to complete the survey by 27 April 2011.
