On Friday 1st March Primary 7 presented a literacy assembly on Writing using the VCOP strategy. The VCOP strategy is all about thinking about Vocabulary, Connectives, Openers and Punctuation. By using WOW words, engaging sentence openers, good joining words and exciting punctuation you automatically make your writing so much more interesting.
Primary 7 had great fun sharing their learning about VCOP in assembly and have challenged the rest of the school to use this strategy in class to improve their own writing, otherwise the VCOP will be after you!
Therefore each day, every class will focus on one aspect of VCOP. We look forward to reading all of these great pieces of writing.
