As part of our ‘Famous Artists’ topic, Primary 1 visited Jupiter Artland and had a wonderful day. We explored the grounds, experienced lots of inspiring outdoor art and learnt about artists including Andy Goldsworthy and Antony Gormley. After lunch and a play we created our own sculptures using clay, tin foil and natural materials that we collected. We even met the Jupiter Artland resident peacock!
All packed and finishing breakfast, plan to set off at 9.30am. Mrs Mitchell will send a group text when we are closer to home.
Please avoid using the turning circle outside the school to allow easy access for the bus.
Looking forward to seeing you all, we have some tired but very happy children!
We have all arrived safely and been out and about already! Some of us have been canoeing and others have been to archery.
Settling in now and getting ready for dinner soon. We are starving after all the energy we have used already!
