Did you know there is a rise in Asthma Attacks in August when pupils go back to school after their summer holidays?
Each year we see an increase in asthma attacks in children when they return to school which often result in admission to hospital.
Check out our top tips to try and avoid this happening.
Remember, asthma attacks are serious and you need to get help day or night if your child is not responding to their blue inhaler.
We are thrilled and delighted to announce we have been awarded our Gold Rights Respecting Schools Award. Longniddry are the first school in East Lothian to be awarded this using the new RRS criteria. We are extremely proud of all our hardworking and committed pupils, staff and community who have helped make this possible. Special thanks go to Mrs MacFadyen our DHT who has been the driving force behind all this amazing work.
Unfortunately due to high winds and dangerous conditions we have decided to cancel sports day. We cannot email or text at the moment as the internet is down. Please spread the word. Thanks for your cooperation.
A huge thank you to Mr Chiole for informing us about the deadly disease Malaria. We learnt all about mosquitoes and how their bite can kill! We even got to see the nets that can help save lives. The Rights Respecting group are donating some of our charity money to this great cause.
As a RightsRespecting School we know it is our Right to be protected from harm!
