We are thrilled and delighted to announce we have been awarded our Gold Rights Respecting Schools Award. Longniddry are the first school in East Lothian to be awarded this using the new RRS criteria. We are extremely proud of all our hardworking and committed pupils, staff and community who have helped make this possible. Miles against Malaria
A huge thank you to Mr Chiole for informing us about the deadly disease Malaria. We learnt all about mosquitoes and how their bite can kill! We even got to see the nets that can help save lives. The Rights Respecting group are donating some of our charity money to this great cause.
As a RightsRespecting School we know it is our Right to be protected from harm!
UNICEF Soccer Aid 2018
Delighted to have been joined by Jason Holt from Rangers today to open our Soccer Aid celebrations! We took part in a football slalom course organsied by the playground squad as well as an inter house football tournament. Well done to Douglas house on thier victory and to everyone else for participating in such an enjoyable morning in aid of a very good cause.
Junior Masterchef 2018
Well done to everyone who took part in our competition tonight. Thanks to all the parents who helped out and to the judges. Thank you to Ruth and Lisa for all their organisation and their help with our cooking sessions throughout the year. Huge congratulations to Rosemary on winning with her delicious risotto dish.
P7 Rotary Quiz Final 2018
Well done to our P7 Team who travelled to Carluke on Saturday to take part in the South East Regional Final of the Primary Rotary Quiz …… it was a nail biting final and Longniddry did really well against 12 other teams. Miss B and Miss Skinner were very proud! Thanks to the parents who helped get the team there and to the Longniddry and District Rotarians who travelled to Carluke to support us.
