We had a fantastic day at East Links today. The weather couldn’t have been better and great fun was had by all. The crazy golf was a very popular new addition to the park this year. The only problem seemed to be the fact the ice-creams and lollies melted very quickly!

Morning Group – Orienteering
The morning class were taught from primary 3/4 how to use maps to find items hidden in the school playground. The children thoroughly enjoyed the activity and we hope to try a bit of orienteering in our nursery playground. Have a look below.
Afternoon Group – Pirate Party
The children had a great time at our pirate party. The children made some pirate buns, used their hands to paint parrots, danced to pirate songs and walked the plank. Thank you to everyone who came along to join us. Have a look at the photos below.
Afternoon group parents please join us…
Please join us for pirate story time tomorrow at 2:45pm, we shall read a story and walk the plank! The ante preschool children will also all be gifted their Pirate Pack at this time. There might be some cakes too!
Hope to see as many parents, grandparents and carers that can make it.
Afternoon group – Pirate party
A reminder that the afternoon groups pirate party is Wednesday 24th June. Your child is welcome to come to nursery on this day dressed as a pirate.
We shall be singing some pirate songs, creating pirate art and enjoying pirate snacks. The children will end our pirate afternoon by walking the plank!
Nursery trip, story sacks and lending library
The lending library and story sacks are now closed for the summer. Please return any ASAP so that they can be checked and cleaned for next session.
A final reminder that forms and money for the nursery trip to East Links farm should be handed in at the beginning of next week. If we have not received this by next Friday we shall assume that you will not be coming on the trip. Please note that as the trip is an all day event the nursery room will not be open on this day and all staff will be at East Links farm.
Thank you for your continued support.
