Yesterday and today some children from the Nursery and Primary 1 came together to solve a problem out in the nursery garden. The children had to work together to create and build a pathway for the magic water to reach the magic bean. The children used their knowledge of the properties of water and forces to create a slide for the water to flow down. We look forward to discovering what the magic bean will grow into!

We had a busy time and great fun at PEEP today. We listened to stories, did ‘Row, Row, Row your Boat’, and made cards and pictures with craft materials. We re-discovered how to make paper dolls, after hearing Julia Donaldson’s book, ‘The Paper Dolls’. We talked about how children play, and what play was like when the grown ups were young. The children used the natural resources to make pictures too.
Today the nursery celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as our favourite book characters. The morning group visited Primary 1 for shared busy time and the afternoon group paraded round the school showing their fabulous costumes. Primary 6 came to read the children’s books to both groups. Have a look at our super day.
