Adventure Teds were at the beach today. They went to Seacliff, near North Berwick. They got a bit stranded on a rock when the tide came in! Fortunately they were rescued without getting wet.
They are looking forward to seeing all the boys and girls again when nursery resumes on Tuesday (21st).
The Bears travelled north to the Cairngorms in search of some snow. There was loads at Glenshee where lots of people were skiing and snowboarding. The snow ploughs were working very hard to keep the snow off the road. They went up to Cairn O’Mount and luckily the snow gates were open! They got very cold paws in the snow.
The Bears have had fun celebrating New Year. Hope 2017 is happy and healthy for everyone.
It is the last day of the Bears’ holiday and they went to visit the windmills on the edge of the town. They also went to the park where there was a very pretty fountain. Both Bears are looking forward to seeing all the girls and boys at nursery again on Tuesday 25th October. They hope everyone has had a lovely holiday too.
Today the Bears spent time looking at the sights of Bruges, walking alongside the many canals. They went to a church too. Lace is made in Bruges, so there is lots in the shops.
The bears are having a good time. The weather has been a bit wet but they avoided the showers and managed to take a boat trip along the canals. They saw lots of buildings along the water, and noticed that the trees’ leaves are changing to autumn colours.
The Bears have taken a trip to Belgium. They travelled overnight on a big ferry from Hull (called the Pride of York) that takes passengers and cars. They slept in bunk beds in the cabin.
It’s the last day of the holiday for Ted. He started off the day with a glass of orange juice and a Portuguese Custard Tart (called a Pastel de Nata). He went to on a drive to the hills to see a reservoir that is used to store some water. He was so hot he wanted to jump in and cool down!
Ted is looking forward to seeing all the children returning to nursery when the new term starts on Wednesday 17th August. He is also looking forward to meeting lots of new friends as we have lots of children joining both the morning and afternoon groups in the next couple of weeks!
Today Ted went to the beach. It was a bit hot on his paws! Whilst he was near the coast he saw a pirate ship! He was a bit worried the pirates might capture him, although that would have been a real adventure! He also saw lots of fishing boats at the harbour.
Ted had more fun climbing trees today. Because it is so hot, there are orange, lemon and lime trees growing. Ted climbed a lime tree and a lemon tree. He had a barbecue for dinner and ate lots of vegetables to try to be healthy.
