Recently in our class we have been learning about Scottish things.  We learned a song called ‘Auld Lang Syne’.   We also celebrated Robert Burns’ birthday on 25th January by singing ‘The Craw’ song and doing Scottish dances. For our poetry competition we learned a scots poem and the winners were Grace C, Molly and Ben from our class.  In art we did weave pictures which made a tartan pattern and we also added a picture of a Scottish plant onto it.  The plant is very prickly and is called a ‘thistle’.   We made colourful thistles by using lots of different coloured paper.
