Welcome Back from P7!

What a great start to the year P7 have had! We have been learning lots about many different things, we can hardly believe that we have managed to squeeze in so much learning and so many activities in such a short space of time!

In our Maths, we have been learning about pie charts and also practising our timestables. Some of us can even say our 800 timestables forwards and backwards! Why don’ t you ask us to say them for you?

We have been carrying out a lot of research about famous people. In pairs, we selected a famous person and created factfiles about them. We then wrote a letter to the famous person and this week we wrote a biography about their lives. We also been learning about other famous people including Mary Anning, Nelson Mandela, Andy Murray and Theresa May!

We are very much looking forward to starting our new interdisciplinary learning using Myths as a context.

Our trips out of school included a trip to the Book Festival and a trip to the lagoons to do some watersports. Learning outside really is engaging and helps us to practise our skills.

Watch out for us on Twitter!

  1. It sounds like you’ve been incredibly busy! Can’t wait to hear the 800 times tables!
