On Monday 13th March 12 children from Loretto took part in a Cross Country event at Meadowmill. They had to run 1.2miles and were competing against a large number of schools from East Lothian. All the children did their very best and competed against not only the course but against the weather and the conditions too. It was a very windy day and by the time they crossed the finishing line they were out of puff! Well done to all who took part – you were a credit to the school; not giving up when the going got tough or when you had to pick yourselves up after falling in the mud. It was a great team effort.
