Come along to our welcome meeting on Monday 9th September, at 7pm. This is a great opportunity to meet other parents, meet your child’s teacher, and have a look at what they’ve been working on. Hope to see you there!
Some of our pupils were interviewed by the BBC after the Book Festival recently.
You can see the interview here.
We’ve been asked to communicate this important message about measles.
There are outbreaks of measles in the UK, Europe and the USA. Measles is very infectious but can be prevented with MMR vaccine. MMR protects against mumps and rubella too.
NHS Lothian is inviting S1-S6 pupils who have not been vaccinated to clinics this summer term and in the holidays. Look out in the post for your clinic invitation.
Make sure to get vaccinated! Together we can stop the spread of measles! #VaccinesWork #NHS_Lothian
Please find below information about a local group called Basecamp. The group is aimed at children between the age of 5 and 10 with a diagnosis of autism or with similar support needs. The group uses games, crafts and activities to promote social skills such as getting to know you, turn taking, listening, team working and managing emotions.
This club has been running successfully in Haddington for a few years now.

East Lothian Council have released a short video to explain how much it costs the council to process cash payments, as opposed to parents using the SchoolPay system. In a time when budgets are extremely tight, every penny helps! Please help us by using SchoolPay to order and pay for your child’s meals and trips.
