Star Artists

Congratulations to Ivanna and Nathan from P7 whose winning drawings are to be used as the new logo for the Loretto RC Parent Council and for the front page of the schools annual calendar.

After some excellent entries from all members of the Pupil Council, Father McMullan decided Ivanna’s logo (shown below) best summed up the true meaning behind the Parent Council – namely ‘Parents Helping Children’. The whole Parent Council was delighted with the choice and thought Ivanna worthy of the book token given as the prize – well done.

It was left to members of the Parent Council to decide upon the winning drawing for the front page of the school calendar. Following tradition, all of the pupils within P7 entered a drawing and there were many excellent ones to choose from, but we’re sure you’ll agree that Nathan’s drawing below is again a worthy winner and we hope that Nathan will enjoy spending the voucher he’ll receive from the Parent Council. The calendars will as always be available to order through the school and will also be available for sale at the school Christmas Fair on Saturday 29th November within the school dining hall.
