P4/5 Had a fantastic day out to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, we saw lots of different plants and flowers and learnt about the life cycle of plants. We explored plants using microscopes and tasted some tropical fruits.
Primary 4 had a super, sunny outing to Lochleven where we studied insects, mixed potions and developed some artwork.
P4/5 Had a lucky sunny day out exploring the wildlife in their natural habitat. This is a continuation of their John Muir Award.

Primary 4 World Book Day we are dressed up as our favourite characters.
Our P6 and P7 Girls took part in the Girls Indoor Football at Meadowmill today. All the girls played really well and won 2 out of 4 games. We won our first game against Windygoul and went on to play the favourites Kings Meadow where we came up against our first defeat followed by our second defeat against Cockenzie. The girls however pulled together in their final exciting game against Campie to come back from 0-2 to win 4-2.
A great effort girls, well done!!!!
A very successful class assembly was given by Primary4 today.
We explained the origin of Harvest Festivals and how they are celebrated by Churches to say thank-you to God for a good harvest.
We gathered in food which will be given to our local food bank.
Many thanks to our mums and dads for the donations and for coming along to support us.

Primary 4 have been studying volcanoes, what they are, where they are and how they affect us.
As part of our homework we were set the task of designing a diorama………. we hope you enjoy looking at them!!!
We went to Strawberry Corner with Mrs McBean to buy some gardening resources. We planted our new flowers into the planters that the Parent Council got for us and did some weeding around the playground.
