*All Nursery and P1 children must be accompanied by an Adult for the duration of the Disco.
At present the LPP also requires another 6 adults to help run the Discos. If you can help for either one or both please let us know as soon as possible. Hopefully we’ll have no problem with having enough volunteers but if we don’t end up with enough volunteers coming forward to help, we will have to cancel the Disco.
Wow! Pat on the back, everyone! The P6 managed to raise a whopping £261.10 for their Macmillan Coffee Morning. Thank you so much to everyone who brought in home baking, and to those who came along and bought it!
On Friday 4th October we held our first ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ day, where pupils could wear something red and donate to this worthy cause. We raised £96! Not bad for a first attempt! Thank you all for your generosity.
Here at Loretto PS, we’re supporting this cause. This Friday, wear something red, donate £1 and show that we care. Log in to SchoolPay and no need to scrabble around for that £1 coin!
Come along to our welcome meeting on Monday 9th September, at 7pm. This is a great opportunity to meet other parents, meet your child’s teacher, and have a look at what they’ve been working on. Hope to see you there!
Some of our pupils were interviewed by the BBC after the Book Festival recently.
You can see the interview here.
Our next LPP meeting will be on Monday 4th March, at 6.30pm in the school dining hall. All welcome! If you have anything you would like discussed, please speak to a member of the LPP, or alternatively email firstname.lastname@example.org
There are a few spare tickets for the 11am showing of the infant nativity. Please contact the school if you would like any. First come, first served!
REMINDER – EVERYONE WELCOME ☕?
The date of the next LPP meeting is tomorrow, Wednesday 5th December at 6.30pm. We hope to see as many of you there as possible. We have nominations for Chairperson and Vice Chairperson so no-one will be hoodwinked into a job unless you want one ?
We only had 5 parents at the last meeting and that just isn’t enough to run a meeting or pass a vote. Please, please come along if you can or the LPP might disappear completely!
