Today in school we had some fun at assembly by thinking and sharing our ideas and thoughts about what it would be like to be the Queen. We wondered about what was different for people 60 years ago when the Queen was crowned and decided we like our tvs, fridges, washing machines and telephones because back then not so many people had these things. Mrs McBean told us people used to call the radio a wireless!  We sang one of our favourite songs You Are A Star and Mrs Robertson presented the achievement awards in the style of Her Majesty. Our proud athletes from Meadowbank were knighted by Queen Robertson and all beautifully bowed or curtseyed.
