The afternoon nursery class have been baking.
The afternoon class have been busy learning how to bake bread with Mrs Waterston. They were very pleased with the results.
We gave our bread the thumbs up at snack time!
The Afternoon Nursery Class visit the gym hall.
We enjoyed some warm ups and exercises to get us fit.
Learning some action songs with the big band. We worked well as a team.

Making chocolate mud pies in the outdoor kitchen area led to some tasty cooking indoors… a real chocolate cake for snack!
May Fayre 2014
May Fayre Fun!
What a great day we had yesterday at the PTA May Fayre. The sun shone and there was lots to see and do, including: a bouncy castle, an assault course, stalls, gator rides and face painting. Thank you to all the bakers, helpers, staff, stall holders, Musselburgh Fire Station, Tranent Community Police and the Territorial Army. You all helped to make it a great day. The money raised helps the school to provide extra resources and activities.

May Fair preparations
Today we made chocolate apples. The melted chocolate looked so delicious. They will be on sale at the May Fair tomorrow, Saturday 31st. Hope we see you there!

The nursery classes have been weaving outdoors.
Today we decorated the garden fence. The fence looks so colourful now. The sun shone through the cellophane ribbon and left rainbow shadows on the ground.
Nursery book bags
The afternoon class were pleased to get their Bookstart book bags. All the parents were invited to the nursery class to hear about the Bookstart programme and share a story and some songs with us. We hope everyone enjoys reading their new stories and makes good use of their lovely bags; they are ideal for a trip to the library in the Easter holidays!

Camp!
Thanks for all your messages. We shall pass them on in the morning. It’s been another great day. Lots of different activities from problem solving in the woods to circus skills. We danced like crazy at the disco. Some of us have packed our bags! Lots more photos to share soon.. Look forward . to seeing you all tomorrow.
