ELOSCN is a Charitable Organisation who operate 12 Breakfast and After School Clubs in Edinburgh & the Lothians, we are currently looking to recruit Apprentice Play Practitioners in a few of our settings in East and Midlothian, our website address is www.eloscn.com for more information on our clubs.

The successful applicants must want a career within the Childcare industry, we offer a 30 hour a week contract, 27.5 hours are club based, 7.30 – 9am breakfast club and 2.30-5.45pm Monday to Thursday After School and 12-5.45pm Friday after school, the other 2.5 hours will be used either covering local creche’s looking after babies/toddlers,  or completing essential CPD and spending time on completing their Qualification Level 3 Social Services Children and Young People.  They are fully supported through their qualification both within their setting and with our Training Provider Q-Train.  The current rate of pay for apprentice at the age of 16 is £4.15 per hour rising to £4.81 next April, their pay will increase to £9.50 on completion of their Qualification.   All our services are Care Inspectorate registered, we would therefore require successful applicants to be PVG checked and registered with the SSSC.
