What is a NetworkRail apprenticeship? – NetworkRail apprentices work on network of rail, signals, electrified lines and telecommunications to get them ready for the future.
How does it work? – First 21 weeks will be spent living and learning at Westwood, our training centre in the Midlands. The rest of your scheme will be spent working from a depot close to home. Specialising in electrification and plant, overhead lines, signalling, telecoms, track or off track, you’ll receive expert training.

Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship : EDF Energy operate nuclear, coal and gas power stations, wind farms, and combined heat and power plants. Their apprenticeships are fixed term – 4 years with the following breakdown :
Years One and Two: Based at the National College for Nuclear Southern Hub, Somerset.
Years Three and Four: You’ll return to your base location at our Torness Power Station in Dunbar, Scotland.
What Qualifications / Qualities are required?
Five GCSEs at Grade C or above (or Grade 4 and above in the new GCSE grading structure) OR National 5 or equivalent, including Maths, English and 2 of either Science, Technical or Engineering subjects
