A’right Lewis ya bam? We’d like to know what you did on the sweaty bus journey?
Connor looks forward to receiving a postcard from the fair Jenna. Nae chance, say the rest of us.
We would also like to know what young Bruce is going to bring back for us? We suggest some cake or a nice cheese. A beret or a baguette would also be well received.
Ciara is also being well missed already but we wouldn’t like to say who is shedding the tears.
I, personally, wish everybody a wonderful time and look forward to you all catching up on the tonnes of work you’ve missed, you scivers!
Sir.

Okay then, you’re skivers. My mistake. It’s not the first one I’ve made: I remember once back in 1986 …
In my defence it’s a word I’ve never written before, only spoken.
My spelling error, incidentally, helped with our lesson today which was personal writing on embarrassing experiences. Lewis, Bruce, Jenna and Ciara can all look forward to hearing about my 10cm probe on their return. If you can’t wait, I think Ms Moore maybe knows … she wasn’t there, I hasten to add!
Anyway, hope you’re enjoying yourselves. Be good!

Dear Ash, To help fund your trip we have rented out your bedroom. The Polish lodger helps with the cleaning of the house and the financial upkeep, which is more than you ever have. If you have the opportunity to stay on in France it is okay with us as long as someone else is financing it. When visiting the Eiffel Tower, wave vigorously at the top and I will check Google Earth to see you. Check with the bus driver if he can fill the luggage hold with fags and booze. Let me know.
