Making a Classroom Museum

There are lots of requests from classes at the moment who would like to make their own classroom museums. I can’t wait to get out and visit these classes! In the next few weeks I’ll be visiting Wallyford P7, Cockenzie P6/7, St Gabriels and Aberlady P5/6.

I’m looking forward to seeing what each class comes up with. I’m also going on a trip with Cockenzie P6/7 to visit Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery in Glasgow. We’re going to see what a HUGE museum looks like so we can get some good ideas for our own Roman Museum.

If you would like to make a museum in your classroom, then why not get in touch? You can find out more on my page about classroom museums on this blog.

To get you in practice for making a museum, have a go at this game where you have to be a Curator. A Curator is a person who works in a museum and finds out all about history.
