Not new to school, but with a new name, is Ms Smith in biology. She got married during the summer and is now Mrs Clutton.

We have recently said goodbye to our science technician, Mrs Menzies, who retired at the October break. We wish her a long and happy retirement. Two more members of staff will be leaving us shortly: Mrs Moore, depute head teacher, is leaving at the end of November to take up a post as a Quality Improvement Officer in Edinburgh; Mr Roderick, principal teacher of computing and business studies, is leaving in January to take up a post at James Gillespie’s High School. We are going to miss them both hugely, and we wish them well in their new jobs.
