Applications are now open for any talented jazz instrumentalist wishing to audition to join the Tommy Smith Youth Jazz Orchestra (TSYJO) and to become part of something creative and inspiring.
The TSYJO was established in 2002 by the acclaimed Scottish saxophonist and composer Tommy Smith, who is Professor of Jazz at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and it is the youth wing for the renowned Scottish National Jazz Orchestra (www.snjo.co.uk), which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
Full details are on the attached forms or on our website www.tsyjo.com where forms may also be downloaded.
NB: The deadline for applications is 15 February 2016, but we would encourage everyone to apply sooner rather than later.
