24 March SQA Announcement on Higher/Advanced Higher coursework

SQA communication about coursework for National Courses:

The school is not required to submit learner coursework for marking in Higher and Advanced Higher courses.  Any National 5 coursework, due to be uplifted in April and May, will also not be submitted for marking.

Many pupils have already completed their coursework for Higher and Advanced Higher courses. This work will still be used as part of the suite of evidence for teachers to draw on as they consider estimated grades.

We await further details on the process and framework for the estimation of grades, that SQA need to inform certification.

As soon as we have this information we will inform pupils, parents & carers.

As the SQA communication states, coursework for a range of National 5 subjects has already been sent to SQA, and  National 5 coursework markers are being contacted to confirm marking arrangements.

Thank you for your continued patience.
