The new political rulers East Lothian  council have said  improving the  local economy and council money finances their  first priority.

In his first talk to the local police as leader of the of the labour/conservative/ independent    
coalition labour councillor willie innes said on tuesday that a suite of policies would support and develop East Lothian jobs.
