  1. With regards to the section on the newsletter about indoor shoes, I’ve not been aware of this, so is this just gym shoes, or do you prefer trainers?
    Thanks

  2. I just wanted to congratulate the person, who came up with the idea, of allowing parents a whole week in which to pay for milk money.
I used to find it a challange, trying to remember to pay for it by a specific time, on just one specific day and know of a few children, who missed out on their milk because of the strick time scale.
Having a few days to remember now, will be so much easier.
    Thank you,
    Yvonne Stewart.

  3. I am totally disappointed in the fair trade sweatshirts.I don`t think they are good quality and will be surprised if they last the year.In the past they have been of good quality and could be passed on to other children in fact my daughter says they are itchy to wear. I just hope i am not the only person disappointed and in future we go back to the other supplier.

  4. Great to see that my old primary school has a website!!
I was at OPS from 1953 to 1957 when we emigrated as a family to Papua New Guinea via Australia. Keep up the good work. Hope to be back in Ormiston for a visit in August 2010.
    Best wishes to all.

  5. just a wee note to say how musch i enjoyed the day trip to the hibs training camp. I am also proud to have in the company of our p7 kids who were both polite and well mannered and showed a great intrest in the days events.
I am sure all the parents would be pleased to know what a great bunch they are, so again well done kids.

p.s as a life long rangers fan the day ot was however torture for me …………………. only kidding

  6. The school is holding a curriculum evening on May 27th where some archived material will be on display e.g. old log books. If there are any relatives still in village perhaps they could come along to visit the school on this night.

  8. SCHOOL INSPECTION REPORT!
I just wanted to say a huge congratulations to Mrs Gardyne, all the staff and children for the fantastic report that the school received yesterday. We know what a great school this and it is great to see it recognised like this. You have all put in so much work to make this school what it is and I wouldn’t have my children at any other school. Well done!!

  9. Great report. Such good grades are hard to come by and I think our wee school is fantastic.
Many thanks to Mrs Gardyne and all the teachers and staff for your hard work.

  10. Huge congratulations to all the staff and pupils on an amazing report from the inspectorate. So pleased and proud for all of you that your fantastic efforts have been recognised and praised at the highest level. Really couldn’t ask for a better environment for Charlie to learn and develop in, so a huge thank you from Chas and I too.
