Primary 3 and 4 have incubators in their classrooms with duck eggs in them. The eggs are about to hatch so if you don’t want to miss the first view of the ducklings, click on the link below.
P2/3 had fun this afternoon making pizzas with some of the vegetables from the Ormiston Grows garden. Some of us were even brave enough to taste the ones with spinach and spring onions on them! Whilst the pizzas were cooking, we made some bird feeders using Cherios.
Thanks to Claire, Liz and Tim who helped us and showed us around.

We’re learning some French words in Primary 1. We can say, “Bonjour,” and ask each other how we feel.
We’re singing this song each morning to practise.
Maybe you can try it at home and share it with your family.
We’ll start serving the winter menu at lunchtimes next week. Take a look at the new choices below.

It’s lovely to welcome back all of our pupils at the start of our new school year and to hear all of the stories of what they’ve been up to over the holidays.
For last year’s nursery children, it’s been the first few days in their new school uniforms.
Check out these photographs of how grown up they look!

We’ll be taking to the railway path on Friday morning when the P3 – P7s will be running in our 2km and 3km summer races.
We’re looking for marshalls and supporters so please come to cheer the children on, anywhere along the route from the Howden Bridge to the end of Hillview Road.
The run will start at 9:30am, from George Crescent, with the 3k runners going up and over the bridge and the 2km runners taking a right onto the old railway at the Howden.
