Some of our P7 pupils have been selected to represent the Ross High cluster primary schools in an East Lothian ‘Question of Sport’ event.
They had to dress up as their favourite sports stars and this photo was sent to our Active Schools Co-ordinator, Lesley Nicholson.
The event takes place on Thursday 29th November from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Prestonpans Town Hall. There will be a quiz, activity demonstration, information stands and refreshments.

On 31st October, P5/6 went to Ross High for a hockey tournament on the astroturf.
The tournament was organised by Fiona Mathieson, the Hockey Development Officer and it gave everyone a chance to practise their skills in some fun games against other schools.

Primary 1 are becoming more confident in the dinner hall with the help of all our lunchtime staff.
Who’s got the best packed lunch?
For their first few days in Primary 1, the class will be split into two groups.
On Monday 20th, Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd, Group A will attend from 9.00am until 10.30am and Group B will attend from 10.45am until 12.15pm.
The groups join together on the mornings of Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th, starting at the normal school time of 8.50am and finishing at 12.10pm.
These times will continue the following week for the whole class – Monday 27th to Friday 31st August, 8.50am to 12.10pm.
From Monday 3rd September, P1 children will attend school all day.
Mrs Rafferty, Mrs McEwan and Mrs Keyte are all looking forward to welcoming the children back in to nursery at the start of our new school year.
