Solar Eclipse

Pupils, Staff and Parents watched the Solar Eclipse today. We used pinhole projectors, telescopes and cameras with special lenses, safety glasses and even colanders to view the eclipse safely.

We noticed lots of different things while we were outside. It got darker and a lot colder while the Moon was in front of the Sun. There was also more wind.

Thank you very much to Kirsty Nicol for sending us these fantastic photos that she took on the day.

Logo_RFLA team of p7 girls have decided they would like to do the race for life on the 15 June 2014 after were inspired by Rachel from P7. We are all looking forward to doing it together. We have seven girls from our class including three of our teachers. We are amazed by how much we have raised over the past couple of weeks and are grateful of the people that are still donating. Our total is now over £1500 and are well passed our target  We are doing this because of family who have fought cancer and for those who are fighting cancer.
