Primary Seven are counting the days till the 4th of May when their film is premiered at the Edinburgh Filmhouse on Lothian Road in the capital.
The film ‘Stage Fright’ was entirely scripted and produced by themselves.
Invitations for the first screening have been sent out for the 4th of May. This is to be followed by an aftershow party.
Staff recently had a very enthusiastic team into school to share their knowledge on how to make technology interesting for all ages using some simple and easy to use equipment. The team are coming back in May to work with all classes on the 22nd and 23rd of May. Look out for the photographs of the event.
May Day holiday is on Monday 7th May followed by an Inservice day for staff on the Tuesday.
Children return to school as normal on Wednesday the 9th.
Help the Eco group to collect old shoes, bags, hats, belts, towels, curtains and bed linen.
Bring your unwanted items to school in a black bag with a label saying Rag Bag Appeal on Wednesday the 28th of March.
School is open on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th for parent consultations between 6.00pm and 8.30pm.
The annual Spring Fayre is almost upon us. Please come along and support us with this event on the 24th of March between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.
There will be lots to amuse everyone from face painting to stalls selling toys and games.

Staff and pupils are dressing up for Comic Relief on Friday 16th of March. The theme this year is ‘Big’clothes or hair.
Many children have already said they are dressing up and donating their 50 pences to the Red Nose Day appeal.
