New outdoor equipment for the Nursery

Nursery New Outdoor Equipment on PhotoPeach

Our nursery have been developing the outdoor area helped by funding from a lottery grant and a generous donation from the parent council. The existing area was extended. This gave us a larger playing area and grass. We then purchased some exciting new equipment. The parents and the children were involved in this process. We are looking forward to the living willow tunnel grow in the spring which will start a whole new adventure!

Bookbug Launch at Ormiston Library

Our afternoon group of 13 Nursery pupils enjoyed a visit to the local library in Ormiston.
They listened to a Pirate story and sang songs. After the session everyone got a pirate goody bag.
This is part of an initiative in Scottish libraries to get more children reading from an early age.
