How we take learning forward in Ormiston
Primary Four visited the Nursery this week to see the tadpoles. Some of the children took photos of the displays about frogs and their lifecycle. Then we noticed how Primary one have been learning about minibeasts. They made their own lifecycle pictures for a frog. In primary four we have been learning about animal classification – putting creatures into sets of invertebrates and vertebrates. We made ladybirds to help us understand about features of an insect and then we made a lever so that the wings would move.
